By accessing or using Flipwave, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
What Flipwave Does
Flipwave is a free web application that allows you to record audio and play it back in reverse. All processing happens locally in your browser – we don't store or process your recordings on any server.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Flipwave only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Record audio without the consent of all parties involved, where required by law
- Use the service to create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the service
- Use automated systems to access the service in a manner that sends more requests than a human can reasonably produce
Your Content
You retain all rights to the audio you record with Flipwave. Since recordings are stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for:
- Backing up any recordings you wish to keep
- The content of your recordings
- How you use or share your recordings
We have no access to your recordings and cannot recover them if lost.
Intellectual Property
The Flipwave name, logo, and the service itself are our property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the service without permission. This does not restrict your rights to your own recordings.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Flipwave is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- The service will meet your specific requirements
- Recordings stored in your browser will be preserved indefinitely
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flipwave and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data or recordings.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Flipwave after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
